Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 1, 2026
Your trust means everything. Eterne AI is built on the sacred act of sharing memories. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle the personal information and deeply personal content you entrust to us.
1. What We Collect
Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. Payment information is handled entirely by Paddle (our payment processor) — we never see your credit card details.
Your Content. The photographs, audio recordings, and written memories you upload to create a persona. This is the heart of the service, and we treat it with the care it deserves.
Conversation Data. Text, voice, and video conversations you exchange with your persona. These are stored to provide continuity in your conversations.
Usage Data. Basic analytics (page views, feature usage) to improve the service. We do not use third-party tracking networks or sell your data.
2. How We Use Your Data
- To create and maintain your persona's digital presence
- To generate text responses, voice messages, and video tributes
- To process your subscription and provide customer support
- To improve the quality and accuracy of our models
- To comply with legal obligations
3. Data Retention and Deletion
Source materials (original photos, audio recordings, written memories): Automatically deleted 7 days after your persona is completed.
Generated content (conversations, voice messages, videos): Retained for the duration of your account. Deleted within 30 days of account cancellation or upon your explicit request.
Account data (email, name): Retained for the duration of your account. Anonymized 90 days after account deletion.
4. Data Sharing
We never sell your personal data. We share data only with providers essential to operating the service:
- Paddle — Payment processing (they see your purchase info, not your content)
- Azure — Cloud storage and compute (your content is stored encrypted)
- DeepSeek / AI providers — Used to generate responses (conversation text is sent temporarily for inference; we do not use your data to train public models)
5. Data Security
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Access to your content is restricted to authorized systems and personnel only. We conduct regular security audits.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your data (we will honor this within 30 days)
- Export your conversation history
- Withdraw consent for specific processing activities
To exercise any of these rights, email support@eterne.cloud.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use marketing cookies, tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features may not function properly.
8. Third-Party Links
The Service may contain links to external sites (e.g., payment checkout, support portal). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal data, we will delete it promptly.
10. International Users
Your data is processed and stored in the United States and Singapore. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your data to these locations. We comply with applicable data protection laws including the GDPR for European users and the CCPA for California residents.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be notified via email or through the Service. We will never retroactively reduce your privacy protections without your explicit consent.
12. Contact
